A normal person taking a different path to parenting…

Hello friends, parents, and guardians!

This started as a journal to my sons.  I wanted to leave them with what I have learned. Then, it hit me…  I realized it is about opening up now.  It’s about community, now.  I want to share these pages with anyone who cares to read them. 

This site is not about “perfect” parenting, or any specific approach, and it’s not a “how to” website. 

Mainly, this site is about giving examples for applying the information we know.  Application is tricky because it can look different, for all of us.  This is why no book, advice, or site works for everyone… Application tends to be simpler than we  realize…it only takes conscious baby steps towards our intentions and happiness.

For some of us, it’s about encouraging our free spirited children, while teaching compassion. This might mean carving out our own new path…and learning how to ignore the old rules. What we do always trickles down to future generations.  We are all connected.  Let’s change what we pass down…

My hope is that I can be there for someone else.  We can all be there for each other…

It’s about baby steps towards our intentions. It’s  about evolving.
